are there actually any good paid surveys sites in the uk?

I have tried Ciao, but at only about 10p a survey it doesnt really mount up quickly. Is there any other sites that pay you to do surveys or do other stuff online? I am asking as I have a lot of spare time on my hands as I am confined to my bed at the moment due to illness, and could do with earning money at home.

I know of a couple of them. CIAO is one, but there are a few more.

Although not quite as lucrative as the US, there are loads of companies in the UK paying you to complete surveys. I earn about £50 to £100 in an average month, but you can earn more if you are disciplined, sign up with loads of companies and make sure you respond promptly.
Some of the best sites are Pinecone, GlobalTestMarket, IPSOS, Valued Opinions, ItsYourView and Lightspeed but there are loads more worth joining.
The best site I’ve found is http://www.whichsurveys.com which has 6 pages just of UK survey sites as well as several pages of international sites looking for UK panelists. Just work through the list, signing up for the ones that appeal to you.
