   Some of the advertisements claim you can take surveys for a living, which is a lie since many people would soon catch on.

   I once tried to get into one of those sites. They usually don’t let you withdraw money until you reach a certain amount and by then most users get tired. They are also the ones who decide how many and which surveys you are to take.

   I suspect a few are just scams.

   Online surveys usually demand you live in a certain area which is of interest for the company who goes out to pay people to take it. Why find statistics on someone who isn’t going to buy your product? Living in the Dominican Republic this is what I suspect didn’t allow mo to have a more scrupulous experience.

   If you actually make money instead of getting tired you’d have gone further than me.
